Exodus 21:6-8

New American Standard Bible

⁶ then his master shall bring him to ^[a]God, then he shall bring him to the door or the doorpost. And his master shall pierce his ear with an ^[b]awl; and he shall serve him permanently.

⁷ “Now ^(A)if a man sells his daughter as a female slave, she is not to ^[c]go free ^(B)as the male slaves ^[d]do. ⁸ If she is ^[e]displeasing in the eyes of her master ^[f]who designated her for himself, then he shall let her be redeemed. He does not have authority to sell her to a foreign people, because of his ^[g]unfairness to her.
